*Don’t know what a chargeback is? That’s okay, we bet you’re a quick learner. Here’s a primer:
A chargeback happens when a consumer disputes a payment they made using a credit card. Sometimes, this happens because of credit card fraud. But a lot of the time, the consumer just forgot that they bought something, doesn’t recognize the charge, or wants a refund.
Every time a chargeback happens, the merchant immediately loses revenue from the transaction. They have to go through a long documentation process to prove the transaction was real and win the money back.
Before Chargehound, merchants had to do all of this manually. That was insanely costly, inefficient, and unrewarding. Chargehound fully automates the chargeback process from end to end so that our merchant partners can recover time, fight 100% of chargebacks, and protect revenue.
